Since the beginning of the pandemic, Nintendo Switches have been nearly impossible to find. Between being stuck at home and the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons, it seemed that everyone wanted a Switch to play with. Seriously. We spent months scouring the internet for Switches in stock, and more often than not, we could only find a handful of Lite models available.

For the longest time, even Amazon wasn't selling any Switch models, aside from third-party sellers that jacked up the price by $100. But, today, our gaming prayers have been answered and you can finally find both the Nintendo Switch and the Switch Lite available on Amazon from the Nintendo Store. It's an early Christmas miracle!

All of the models available for purchase technically won't be in stock until mid-November, so you'll have to wait a bit before your new console arrives. However, we do recommend ordering the Switch or the Switch Lite now, especially if you were planning to give one as a gift this holiday season. Knowing their popularity, they will sell out again and you won't want to be scrambling come December.

When they do inevitably go out of stock, refer to our updated list of where to buy Nintendo Switches, which we regularly update with retailers selling the gaming consoles as they come in and out of stock.
