Bulls Twitter is HYPE about Nikola Vučević trade originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

The Bulls kicked off the NBA trade deadline day with a bang Thursday morning by trading Wendell Carter, Jr., Otto Porter Jr. and two first-round picks to bring in Nikola Vučević and Al-Farouq Aminu. To say fans on Twitter were hyped would be a massive understatement.

It’s easy to understand why fans are so psyched to have Vučević in Chicago. According to ESPNStatsInfo, he’s one of only four players averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds this season — the other three are Nikola Jokić, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid. No Bulls player has ever finished a season hitting each of those marks.

Further, there are only four players this season averaging 24 points who put up six 3-point attempts per game and hit 40% of those 3-point attempts, per ESPNStatsInfo. The Bulls now have two of them in Vučević and Zach LaVine.

So who’s ready to do this again with Lonzo Ball in a few hours?
