Eli Tomac bounced back from two disappointing rounds and another fall by Chase Sexton may turn the 2023 season into a two-man battle for the championship.
Eeli Tolvanen scored twice against his former team, his first multi-goal game in the NHL, as the Seattle Kraken defeated the host Nashville Predators 7-2 Saturday afternoon. Jared McCann had a goal and two assists, Oliver Bjorkstrand had one of each and Daniel Sprong and Adam Larsson also scored for Seattle (40-24-8, 88 points), which leads the Western Conference's wild-card playoff race.
New statue, gorgeous weather, and a two-game winning winning streak usher the Nashville Predators (36-26-8) into the final weeks of the season, and the next test is the same one they had two days ago. Once again the Seattle Kraken (39-24-8) are at Bridgestone Arena for a matchup with (somehow) playoff implications for both teams. Will the young guns like Luke Evangelista, Kiefer Sherwood and Phil Tomasino be able to replicate their efforts? Author's Note: Reposting this from the previous preview because no matter what, Tolvanen is the story of this series.
