Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron is officially coming back for his 19th season with the team, and he gave a positive update on that status of his left elbow Monday.
Many of my bookmaking sources expected Bergeron to return after a career year last season, but Krejci’s return caught a few by surprise. The Bruins were definitely underdogs to sign both players, if you will. Boston was as high as 35-1 ($100 wins $3,500) to win next year’s Stanley Cup before the Bergeron signing was announced Monday morning and bookmakers spent a couple hours tweaking their prices and hold percentages.
The first days of free agency were busy. Follow along for news and analysis of all the trades and signings for the rest of the offseason.
