We gotta find a way. We’re all NHL players, and we’re all capable of playing the right way and playing as a team and that’s what we have to do. Four years ago, right around this time, an obscure goalie — unproven and untested — came up from the minors and rescued them.
Alexandrov has had two prior stints with the Blues encompassing 16 games – nine games in November and seven games in January. All told, the Blues are 11-5-0 this season when Alexandrov has been in the lineup. His playing time hasn’t been extensive – he has topped 10 minutes of ice time in only three contests, but he’s been effective with two goals, two assists and a plus-5 goal differential.
Vladimir Tarasenko Expected to Be Available With the Blues’ playoff hopes rapidly decreasing, they are expected to be sellers at this year’s trade deadline. As a result, pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) Vladimir Tarasenko will finally get his wish and find a new home. Tarasenko of course requested a trade from the Blues during the 2021 Offseason, but they decided to hold onto him.
