    PRE-GAME REPORT: Oilers at Coyotes

    The Oilers will give it the old college try tonight on the campus of Arizona State University in an attempt to cool off an Arizona Coyotes team that has been red-hot recently at Mullett Arena. "You look at how they're playing post-trade deadline, their record commands attention and their home record here commands attention," Head Coach Jay Woodcroft said following Monday's morning skate. The Coyotes did just that last Wednesday back in Edmonton, holding 2-1 and 3-2 leads before ultimately dropping a 4-3 overtime decision to the Oilers as Connor McDavid converted his 60th goal of the season in the sudden-death period. The Blue & Orange are gunning for a season sweep of Arizona tonight after also beating them 8-2 in Edmonton on Dec. 7.
