Nashville Predators Top 25 Under 25: #25 Rem Pitlick

It’s time for our annual countdown of the best 25 Nashville Predators players under 25 years old! This is not only a tradition here at OTF, but is also something that you might see at many other SBNation NHL blogs. The premise is simple: rank the 25 best players who have not yet reached their 25th birthday (as of August 1st, 2017). To begin, we start with American center prospect Rem Pitlick. Pitlick was drafted 76th overall, in the third round, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft from the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL. There he led the league in nearly every offensive category and won USHL Player of the Year. He spent the 2016-17 season completing his freshman year at the University of Minnesota

Titanic shift in AFC South as Tennessee runs away with division Marcus Mariota is in the MVP conversation, DeMarco Murray is on pace for 1,500 yards and the South is

What could Viktor Arvidsson's contract with Predators look like?

Viktor Arvidsson will have a new contract by Monday. That much is certain because of the guidelines of salary arbitration, which the Predators forward applied for earlier this month. Arvidsson's hearing is scheduled for Saturday in Toronto, and a third-party decision must be issued within 48 hours if he and the Predators are independently unable to agree to terms.  Sportsnet reported Thursday that Arvidsson's side requested $4.5 million ahead of the hearing. The Predators countered with a two-year contract worth $2.75 million per season. Arvidsson has three seasons left before he reaches unrestricted free agent status.  Players and teams typically avoid arbitration, using the hearing date as
