The Calgary Flames are having some discipline problems and it is wearing on their coach's nerves. Coach Glen Gulutzan was still seething after practice on Friday after a 2-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricane the night before. Gulutzan refused to dump on his young in-your-face sophomore, Matthew Tkachuk, who was criticized for his two minors on Thursday.
If Brendan Lemieux can channel even a fraction of his dad's tenacity, the Minnesota Wild are in for a super annoying game Friday night. The Winnipeg Jets (3-3-0) recalled the offspring of Claude Lemieux, arguably the most annoying hockey agitator of all time when he played from 1985-2003, and the 21-year-old will make his NHL debut at Bell MTS Place. Brendan Lemieux will take the ice three days after nearly playing for Winnipeg against the Columbus Blue Jackets before eventually watching the Jets' 5-2 loss from the press box.
