    Wild-Flyers preview: An early puck drop in Philadelphia

    Wild update: The Wild can sweep their trip after their 2-1 overtime win Tuesday at New Jersey extended their point streak on the road to nine games. Overall since March 1, the Wild are 7-1-2. RW Matt Boldy has six goals and four assists during a season-high six-game point streak. Four of those goals have come in Boldy's last two games.

    Carter Hart, Flyers face tall task versus streaking Wild

    The young Philadelphia Flyers produced some unexpected offense in a 6-3 victory over the Florida Panthers on Tuesday. The Flyers, however, secured the two points largely because of goaltender Carter Hart. Hart will now look to lead the Flyers (26-32-12, 64 points) to a second straight win on Thursday when they host the Minnesota Wild (41-22-8, 90 points). "He's been there all year," said defenseman Travis Sanheim, who scored two goals.

    'An Unexpected Friend,' Pen Pals United After Three Years

    For Harvey Ballen, a Korean War veteran who traveled the world,  the pandemic shrunk his world to just one room inside a senior center in Northern Wales. It was thanks to the Philadelphia Flyers Pen Pal Program that Ballen was paired with Valeria Camillo, president of business operations for the Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center. “An unexpected friend in an unexpected place - a true blessing in my life,” Camillo said about Ballen.
