Wild Have to Fix Special Teams It goes without saying that the Wild’s special teams last season were pretty disappointing. They’d have bouts of greatness only for it to fizzle out and not stay consistent. If they want to have a winning season and make it far in the postseason, that same inconsistency can’t continue.
After a disappointing second day of the 2022 World Juniors for our Minnesota Wild prospects — featuring a disconnected Canadian defense featuring Carson Lambos and just no points for the 2022 first-rounder Liam Ohgren — the third day was a little bit of a treat. While no one made any game look easy, there were at least goals and points to talk about. So how did they do on the third day of this Under-20 tournament?
The stop was the final stop in the road tour and was free to the public. DULUTH, Minn. The Minnesota Wild road tour made its final stop at the DECC Thursday, where fans participated in interactive games on the inflatable street hockey rink, a video game station and a visit from the Wild’s mascot Nordy.
