The New Jersey Devils continue to find new and exciting ways to embarrass themselves, and/or the Hockey Gods continue to smite them.
On Tuesday, this dump-in from Clayton Stoner(notes) of the Minnesota Wild went off of Ilya Kovalchuk's(notes) stick, then the glass at The Rock and then ... well, just watch what happens to poor Johan Hedberg(notes):
"The bounces can't keep going that way, can they?" Well, it's been over three months and we're still witnessing KovaLOLchuk moments ...
Naturally, this was on VERSUS, so the Devils' preposterous combination of inept play and cursed luck was given a national spotlight.
This turned out to be the game-winning goal in the Wild's 2-1 victory.
