Down 4-2 entering the third period, the Blackhawks ripped off four goals in a span of 8:18 for a come-from-behind 6-5 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The Blackhawks captain had four points in the final frame -- two goals, two assists -- after assisting on one of Patrick Sharp's three goals earlier in the game to finish with a 5-point night. Sharp completed his second career hat trick tying the game early in the third period and adding the go-ahead goal two minutes later.
Elliott's resurgent season continues as he earned his third shutout of the year and fifth win in a row with a 24-save night during a 2-0 win over the Calgary Flames. David Backes(notes) scored his fourth goal in five games as the Blues improved to 6-1-2 under Ken Hitchcock.
Hedberg posted his 19th career shutout with a 1-0 win over the New York Islanders. Making 23 saves, including a penalty shot by Michael Grabner(notes), Hedberg won for the third time in four starts. Petr Sykora(notes) scored the only goal of the game on a power play tally in the second period as the Islanders lost their fourth straight game.
Two games, two shutouts for Schneider this week. After a 23-save win over Colorado on Wednesday, Schneider stopped 22 shots as the Canucks blanked the Phoenix Coyotes 5-0. The win was also Schneider's third in a row. Ryan Kesler(notes) led the Canucks with a goal and an assist as Vancouver has outscored their opponents during this three-game win streak 10-1.

A four-goal second period saw the Rangers beat Michal Neuvirth(notes) three times in a 4:18 span ... Steven Stamkos(notes) capitalized on the power play and potted home the overtime winner as the Tampa Bay Lightning edged the Florida Panthers 2-1 ... Pavel Datsyuk(notes) scored in regulation and in the shootout, while Jimmy Howard(notes) stopped 41 shots as the Detroit Red Wings snapped the Boston Bruins' 10-game win streak with a 3-2 victory. Datysuk now has eight points in four games ...
