NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Typically, FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G), but the tournaments are different with only one game on the slate Wednesday night. For FanDuel and DraftKings, you can formulate your roster with any player you believe will serve you best, regardless of position within a salary cap limit of $55,000 and $50,000, respectively. FanDuel doesn’t have goaltenders in the pool, but they can be used on DraftKings. Both offer a captain slot, which provides a 1.5x multiplier. Today’s article has been adjusted with those new rules in mind.

Jamie Benn (Dallas) - $14,000 (FanDuel), $12,300 (DraftKings)

Cale Makar (Colorado) - $9,000 (FanDuel), $8,600 (DraftKings)
Makar and Miro Heiskanen are two of the best young blueliners in the league and they are both roster worthy for Wednesday night. Makar has been the better of the two of late, even though Heiskanen had the superior totals in Game 5, while accounting for one goal and five assists in the past three games.
Denis Gurianov (Dallas) - $9,000 (FanDuel), $6,400 (DraftKings)
Gurianov has a four-game point spree going into Game 6 versus the Avalanche. He has two goals, four assists and 10 shots during that stretch. Gurianov is among the top goal scorers in the postseason with eight markers in 14 appearances.
