NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check NBC Sports EDGE's player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).
Tuesday has eight games on the schedule.
Kirill Kaprizov (Minnesota) - W - $7,600 (FanDuel), $7,400 (DraftKings), $27 (Yahoo)
Kaprizov has amassed 12 points, including nine assists, in his past six outings. He has two four-point performances during that span as well as 22 shots on goal. Arizona played the night before at Winnipeg, so Kaprizov and the Wild could take advantage of a tired squad. He scored a goal against the Coyotes on Nov. 10 in a 5-2 victory to give him six markers and 11 points in nine career matches versus Arizona.
Dylan Larkin (Detroit) - C - $6,900 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings), $21 (Yahoo)
Larkin has supplied six goals and four assists during a seven-game point streak going into Tuesday’s action. He has 17 shots on target and one power-play marker over that stretch. Larkin can stacked comfortably with Lucas Raymond or played on his own.
Roope Hintz (Dallas) - C - $6,500 (FanDuel), $5,800 (DraftKings), W - $18 (Yahoo)
Hintz has heated up with seven goals and 11 points in his past nine outings. That includes four goals (two shorthanded, one power play) and two assists (one power play) during a four-game point streak. Hintz has 17 shots on target during that stretch.
Jesper Bratt (New Jersey) - W - $5,300 (FanDuel), $4,600 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo)
Bratt has been all over the scoresheet since the end of October, while generating five goals and 17 points in 14 contests. That includes one goal and five helpers during a four-game point spree heading into Tuesday’s matchup with San Jose. Bratt is worth stacking with linemates Andreas Johnsson and/or Dawson Mercer.
Bargain Bin: Lucas Raymond (DET) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel), $5,300 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo), Andreas Johnsson (NJ) - W - $4,400 (FanDuel), $3,700 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo), Viktor Arvidsson (LA) - W - $5,500 (FanDuel), $18 (Yahoo), Ryan Johansen (NSH) - C - $4,200 (FanDuel), $3,700 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo), Robert Thomas (STL) - C- $4,400 (FanDuel), $3,900 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)

John Carlson (Washington) - $6,600 (FanDuel), $6,500 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)
Carlson doesn’t come cheap, but his cap hits don’t really break the bank either. Still, he is worth spending up for after accounting for 11 assists and 13 points in his past eight contests. Carlson has four power-play points (one goal, three assists), a shorthanded assist and 16 shots on goal during that stretch. He also has two goals and four helpers over a three-game point spree.
Bargain Bin: John Klingberg (DAL) - $4,500 (FanDuel), $4,600 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo) Sean Durzi (LA) - $4,600 (FanDuel), $3,200 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo), Vladislav Gavrikov (CBJ) - $4,200 (FanDuel), $3,200 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo)
Cam Talbot (Minnesota) - $8,200 (FanDuel), $8,500 (DraftKings), $29 (Yahoo)
Talbot has won his last three starts, while stopping 98 of the 103 shots he has faced. He has permitted two goals or fewer in each of his past five victories and Arizona has averaged a league-low 1.82 goals for per game played this season.
