NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check NBC Sports EDGE's player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are six games scheduled for Tuesday.

Aleksander Barkov (Florida) – C - $8,000 FanDuel, $7,700 DraftKings, $33 Yahoo

Barkov continues to be a regular contributor for the Panthers. You’d have to go back to Feb. 7-9 to find the last time that he was held off the scoresheet in even back-to-back games. He really hasn’t had a cold streak at all this season, which is a big part of the reason why he’s up to 17 goals and 43 points in 36 games.

T.J. Oshie (Washington) – W - $6,400 FanDuel, $5,300 DraftKings, $21 Yahoo

Oshie scored two goals and registered an assist on Sunday to put him on a three-game point streak. He’s been providing excellent value lately with seven goals and 13 points in his last 10 games.

Taylor Hall (Boston) – W - $5,400 FanDuel, $4,800 DraftKings, $10 Yahoo

This one is in some ways a shot in the dark, but the logic here is obvious. While it’s certainly true that Hall has been disappointing this season with two goals and 19 points in 37 games with Buffalo, he’ll be making his Bruins debut tonight and it’ll be against the Sabres, so that should provide him with even more motivation. It wouldn’t be surprising if Hall has a great night.

Jesper Bratt (New Jersey) – W - $5,100 FanDuel, $5,000 DraftKings, $18 Yahoo

Bratt is on a five-game point streak and has recorded at least a point in seven of his last eight contests. He’s scored five goals and 25 points in 34 contests this season, which isn’t bad for a player at that price.

Bargain Bin: Zach Hyman (TOR) - $5,000 FanDuel/$6,500 DraftKings/$23 Yahoo, Craig Smith (BOS) - $4,800 FanDuel/$3,900 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Mikael Backlund (CGY) - $4,300 FanDuel/$4,800 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Filip Chytil (NYR) - $4,200 FanDuel/$3,600 DraftKings/$14 Yahoo, Charlie Coyle (BOS) - $4,100 FanDuel/$3,100 DraftKings/$13 Yahoo, Kaapo Kakko (NYR) - $4,100 FanDuel/$3,100 DraftKings/$15 Yahoo

Rasmus Dahlin (Buffalo) - $4,100 FanDuel, $3,500 DraftKings, $11 Yahoo

Dahlin has been on a roll lately with a goal and five points in his last five games. Granted, this season has been a mixed bag for him overall with three goals and 17 points in 41 contests, but you’re also getting him at a very low price so some struggles are to be expected. The more important thing for our purposes is that he’s been getting results lately.

Bargain Bin: Shayne Gostisbehere (PHI) - $4,100 FanDuel/$4,900 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Mattias Ekholm (NAS) - $3,900 FanDuel/$4,400 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo, Brenden Dillon (WAS) - $3,800 FanDuel/$2,500 DraftKings/$13 Yahoo

Andrei Vasilevskiy (Tampa Bay) - $8,400 FanDuel, $8,200 DraftKings, $38 Yahoo

Vasilevskiy is coming off a 36-save shutout against Nashville on Saturday and he’ll get a chance to best the Predators again tonight. He’s been amazing this season with a 25-6-1 record, 2.00 GAA, and .932 save percentage in 32 games. Despite that strong play throughout the campaign, he’s reasonably priced compared to the other start options today. For example, in FanDuel David Rittich ($8,700) and Ilya Samsonov ($8,600) are priced above him.

Bargain Bin: Chris Driedger (FLA) - $8,000 FanDuel/$7,700 DraftKings/$35 Yahoo
