NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check NBC Sports EDGE's player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are seven games scheduled for Tuesday night.

Mika Zibanejad (NYR) – C - $7,900 FanDuel, $7,600 DraftKings, $26 Yahoo

Zibanejad was held off the scoresheet on Sunday, but even with that he’s been amazing lately. He has eight goals and 18 points in his last nine contests. Zibanejad had a rough start to the season, but now that he seems to have found his way, he’s one of the best bets out there.

Alex DeBrincat (CHI) – W - $7,300 FanDuel, $7,200 DraftKings, $29 Yahoo

DeBrincat has recorded at least a point in five of his last six contests, scoring three goals and six points over that span. After having a down campaign in 2019-20, he’s been a driving force for the Blackhawks with 18 goals and 35 points in 32 contests.

Evgeny Kuznetsov (WAS) – C - $6,500 FanDuel, $5,200 DraftKings, $20 Yahoo

Kuznetsov got off to a really quiet start in 2020-21, but he’s found his groove recently. Over his last 10 games, he’s contributed at least a point in nine of them, scoring four goals and 12 points over that span. That gives him six goals and 18 points in 24 contests.

Ryan Strome (NYR) - $5,900 FanDuel, $6,000 DraftKings, $21 Yahoo

You won’t find many players on a better run than Strome. He’s on a nine-game point streak and has recorded at least a point in 12 of his last 14 games. At this point he’s up to 11 goals and 32 points in 34 contests, which is very impressive production when weighed against his cost.

Bargain Bin: Andrei Svechnikov (CAR) - $5,700 FanDuel/$5,600 DraftKings/$21 Yahoo, Roope Hintz (DAL) - $5,600 FanDuel/$5,300 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Tomas Tatar (MON) - $5,200 FanDuel/$3,600 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Martin Necas (CAR) - $5,200 FanDuel/$4,700 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo, Tom Wilson (WAS) - $5,200 FanDuel/$3,900 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Jonathan Drouin (MON) - $4,800 FanDuel/$3,200 DraftKings/$15 Yahoo, Jesper Bratt (NJD) - $4,700 FanDuel/$3,700 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo, Yanni Gourde (TBL) - $4,600 FanDuel/$4,900 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo

Roman Josi (NAS) - $6,700 FanDuel, $6,900 DraftKings, $22 Yahoo

Josi has recorded at least a point in six of his last seven games and nine of his last 12 contests. Thanks to that hot stretch, he now has three goals and 20 points in 29 games this season.

Dougie Hamilton (CAR) - $6,600 FanDuel, $7,000 DraftKings, $26 Yahoo

Although if you want to talk about consistency, you can’t do any better than Hamilton lately. He’s on an incredible 14-game point streak. That gives him three goals and 27 points in 33 contests in 2020-21.

Bargain Bin: Tyson Barrie (EDM) - $6,500 FanDuel/$6,000 DraftKings/$26 Yahoo, Darnell Nurse (EDM) - $6,000 FanDuel/$6,400 DraftKings/$24 Yahoo, Adam Fox (NYR) - $5,800 FanDuel/$6,500 DraftKings/$22 Yahoo, John Klingberg (DAL) - $5,600 FanDuel/$5,600 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo

Mikko Koskinen (EDM) - $7,700 FanDuel, $7,600 DraftKings, $28 Yahoo

Koskinen isn’t someone I’d typically recommend and with a 9-10-0 record, 3.11 GAA, and .903 save percentage in 19 games, it’s not hard to see why. However, he’s quietly been one of the league’s best goaltenders lately, posting a 2.20 GAA and .932 save percentage from Feb. 9 onward. That combined with his fairly low price point for a goaltender makes him a worthy bet right now.

Bargain Bin: Igor Shesterkin (NYR) - $7,400 FanDuel/$7,700 DraftKings/$29 Yahoo,
