NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are four games in the NHL on Sunday.

Aleksander Barkov (Florida) - C - $7,400 (FanDuel), $8,000 (Draft Kings), $32 (Yahoo)

Barkov has been hot of late with five goals and eight points in his last five games, giving him 13 goals and 35 points this season, tied for seventh in NHL scoring. Barkov is having a tremendous season and could be in consideration for a couple of trophies at the end of the year, including the Selke.

Jonathan Huberdeau (Florida) - W - $7,500 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)

Huberdeau is tied with Barkov for the team lead in points with 35, also placing him tied for seventh in NHL scoring. He was held off the scoresheet Saturday but had seven points in his previous six games. Huberdeau is a stud offensively and is worth a DFS pick in FanDuel and Yahoo.

Adrian Kempe (Los Angeles) - W - $5,900 (FanDuel), $5,700 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)

Adrian Kempe is due for a breakout. He has gone the last four games without a point but had six goals in his three previous games prior to that. Kempe has four of his 11 goals and seven of his eight assists on the power play as the Kings have been a top team with the man-advantage all season. Playing alongside Anze Kopitar doesn’t hurt.

Bargain Bin: Chandler Stephenson (Vegas) – C - $4,700 (FanDuel), $4,200 (Draft Kings), $16 (Yahoo), Yanni Gourde (Tampa Bay) – C - $4,100 (FanDuel), $4,400 (DraftKings), $19 (Yahoo) Viktor Arvidsson (Nashville) – W - $5,100 (FanDuel) $4,800 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo), Alex Tuch (Vegas) – W - $4,600 (FanDuel), $5,200 (Draft Kings), $20 (Yahoo)

Editor’s Note: The Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights face off Sunday on NBCSN starting at 5:30 pm ET. Livestream all the action here.

Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay) - $6,900 (FanDuel), $6,700 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)

Hedman retook the lead among defensemen scoring on Saturday with a three-assist night, giving him 32 points this season, including six goals with 18 points coming on the power play. The NHL’s top defenseman is a must start in DFS Sunday.

Aaron Ekblad (Florida) - $5,700 (FanDuel), $5,900 (DraftKings), $21 (Yahoo)

Ekblad has been slumping a bit with only one point in his last four games but the defenseman has 10 goals and 20 points in 30 games and that is nothing to sneeze at. He has a goal and an assist in three games against Sunday’s opponent, the Tampa Bay Lightning in what should be a battle of the titans for the Central Division’s top two teams.

Bargain Bin:

MacKenzie Weegar (Florida) - $4,000 (FanDuel), $4,600 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo), Jamie Oleksiak (Dallas) $3,600 (FanDuel), $3,500 (Draft Kings), $12 (Yahoo)

Marc-Andre Fleury (Vegas) - $8,500 (FanDuel), $8,300 (Draft Kings), $40 (Yahoo)

Fleury has been a bit shaky in his last five starts as he has given up four goals on three occasions. He has still won two of those games and is riding a four-game winning streak to a 16-5-0 record with a 1.87 GAA and a .933 save percentage. He has faced the Kings only once this season, stopping 27-of-29 shots in a February 5 victory.

Other plays: Jake Oettinger (Dallas) - $7,300 (FanDuel), $7,700 (DraftKings), $30 (Yahoo)
