There are 11 games in the NHL on Saturday.
Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado) - C - $9,000 (FanDuel), $9,100 (Draft Kings), $34 (Yahoo)
MacKinnon is on a four-game scoring streak, with two goals and seven points. He is tied for seventh in NHL scoring and plays on one of the top-three lines with Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen. MacKinnon has not scored in only one of his last 12 games and has three goals and five points in three games against St. Louis this season.
Mika Zibanejad (New York Rangers) – C - $7,800 (FanDuel), $8,100 (Draft Kings), $28 (Yahoo)
Zibanejad finally picked up a point with David Quinn behind the bench on Thursday, his first in three games. Zibanejad has 12 goals and 28 points in 36 games this season and has returned to form after starting the season with only 11 points in his first 27 games. The Rangers face the lowly Sabres and it could be another big game for Zibanejad who has had a pair of six-point games in the last 17 days.
Carter Verhaeghe (Florida) - W - $5,700 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)
Verhaeghe has come into his own this season with 17 goals and 30 points in 35 games. He has been seeing first line duty with Aleksander Barkov and that certainly doesn’t hurt but he has been especially hot of late without the injured Barkov as he has five goals and eight points in his last four games. He is a great price in Yahoo and FanDuel.
Pavel Buchnevich (New York Rangers) - W - $5,900 (FanDuel), $6,400 (DraftKings), $21 (Yahoo)
Playing with Mika Zibanejad gives DFS players a nice one-two punch when filling out a lineup and Chris Kreider is the third member of the unit. Buchnevich has only one point in his last three games to give him 32 points in 34 contests but he could be ready to break out again as the Rangers are trying to get back in the playoff picture in the East. He is a good price in FanDuel and Yahoo.
Gabriel Landeskog (Colorado) – W - $7,100 (FanDuel), $7,600 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)
Landeskog is the third member of the MacKinnon-Rantanen line and has points in 10 of his last 11 games, scoring seven goals and adding 12 assists. The winger has 35 points in 34 games this season including two goals and four points against the Blues.
Bargain Bin: Yanni Gourde (Tampa Bay) – C - $4,700 (FanDuel), $4,700 (Draft Kings), $18 (Yahoo), Jared McCann (Pittsburgh) – C/W - $3,900 (FanDuel), $4,500 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo) Anthony Beauvillier (NY Islanders) – W - $4,100 (FanDuel) $4,100 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo), Joonas Donskoi (Colorado) – W - $4,300 (FanDuel), $4,500 (Draft Kings), $19 (Yahoo)
Dougie Hamilton (Carolina) - $6,600 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $26 (Yahoo)
Hamilton finally saw his 14-game points streak come to an end this week but he came right back next game and had two helpers against Chicago on Thursday after the Blackhawks shut him down on Tuesday. He has three goals and 29 points in 35 games after a 40-point season last year in 47 games. He is one of the top offensive defensemen in the NHL.
Adam Fox (NY Rangers) - $5,700 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)
No defenseman is hotter than Fox right now as he is on a nine-game points streak with two goals and 14 assists. He was the first star of the week last week with 11 points in four games including a goal and 10 assists with seven helpers coming via the power play. He has 31 points in 35 games and is a must play, especially in Yahoo and FanDuel.
Alec Martinez (Vegas) - $4,500 (FanDuel), $6,100 (Draft Kings), $19 (Yahoo)
Martinez has two goals and four points in his last five games. The Vegas blueliner has found the back of the net on five occasions this season adding 15 assists. He is a nice play in DFS Saturday as the Golden Knights are home to Minnesota.
Brandon Montour (Buffalo) - $3,900 (FanDuel), $3,700 (DraftKings), $16 (Yahoo), Devon Toews (Colorado) $4,600 (FanDuel), $5,700 (Draft Kings), $19 (Yahoo), Seth Jones (Columbus) - $5,400 (FanDuel), $5,100 (DraftKings), $17 (Yahoo)
Casey DeSmith (Pittsburgh) - $8,300 (FanDuel), $7,400 (Draft Kings), $38 (Yahoo)
DeSmith has won his last three starts and is 9-3-0 with a 1.84 GAA and a .933 save percentage, all outstanding stats. While he is 1-1-0 against Boston this season, he has allowed only three goals on 64 shots against Saturday’s opponents. The Penguins have been red-hot since the start of March and are 13-3-1 in that span.
Alex Nedeljkovic (Carolina) - $8,200 (FanDuel), $8,000 (DraftKings), $35 (Yahoo)
Nedeljkovic is making things awfully hard on the Hurricanes but for a good reason. With Petr Mrazek coming back this week, the Canes have three NHL goalies. Nedeljkovic could be the best of the bunch as he is 8-3-2 with a 2.05 GAA and a .927 save percentage. He was the NHL’s rookie of the month in March and has allowed more than three goals only once this season. Since his third start of the season against Florida on February 17, Nedeljkovic has allowed only 17 goals in 10 starts, on 280 shots.
