Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster five players (a captain worth 1.5 points and four other players) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for six players (a captain at 1.5 times the points and five other players). Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay) - W - $15,500 (FanDuel), $11,000 (Draft Kings)
Kucherov was held pointless in Game 1 but continues to lead the NHL in playoff scoring with 26 points. The former Art Ross Trophy winner finished seventh in NHL scoring during the regular season and should be able to turn it on Monday night as the Lightning will have a huge hole to dig out of if they drop Game 2.
Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay) - D - $12,500 (FanDuel), $9,000 (DraftKings)
Hedman is a top-three defenseman in the NHL and is a finalist for the Norris Trophy this season after winning it in 2017-18. He has nine goals and 15 points in 20 games and leads everyone in the playoffs with a plus-17 rating. Hedman leads the Lightning defensive corps and is a huge part of their potent power play. He had his two-game goal scoring streak end in Game 1 but is tied for third all-time in goals by a defenseman in one playoff season, trailing only Paul Coffey’s 12 in 1985 and Brian Leetch who had 11 in 1994.
Ondrej Palat (Tampa Bay) – W - $10,500 (FanDuel), $8,400 (DraftKings)
Palat had been on fire of late with eight goals in eight games, but has been held off the scoresheet in his last three contests. He plays on the Lightning’s top power play with Steven Stamkos out of the lineup (although Stamkos could return as early as tonight) and has been a stud for Tampa Bay, playing on the top line with Kucherov and Brayden Point.
Brayden Point (Tampa Bay) – W - $14,000 (FanDuel), $9,400 (DraftKings)
Point is laboring with an undisclosed injury but he still is second in scoring with 25 points. Point has sat out two of the last five games but he will have plenty of time to rest once the Stanley Cup Final is over. Point has been an unheralded star the last couple of seasons so it’s nice to see that he is getting plenty of notice in the bubble.
Miro Heiskanen (Dallas) – D- $9,500 (FanDuel), $8,000 (DraftKings)
Heiskanen has been the best defenseman in the playoffs overall and he leads all blueliners with 23 points in the post-season thus far. He quarterbacks the Dallas power play and the Stars have been a scoring machine in the post-season with the young Finn leading the way. He could be a future superstar in the NHL as he is already a star at the tender age of 21.
Bargain Bin: Denis Gurianov (Dallas) – W- $8,000 (FanDuel) $6,800 (DraftKings), Anthony Cirelli (Tampa Bay) - C - $8,000 (FanDuel), $6,200 (DraftKings), Joe Pavelski (Dallas) – C - $9,000 (FanDuel) $7,800 (DraftKings), Jamie Oleksiak (Dallas) – D - $7,500 (FanDuel) $4,000 (DraftKings), Zach Bogosian (Tampa Bay) – D - $6,000 (FanDuel), $4,400 (DraftKings)
