NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check NBC Sports EDGE's player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 2W, 2D, 2UTIL 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Friday has six games on the schedule.

Forwards:

Andrei Svechnikov (Carolina) – W - $8,800 FanDuel, $7,500 DraftKings, $27 Yahoo

Svechnikov has started the season on a six-game point streak. He’s up to six goals and 10 points in six contests this season. He’s in a three-way tie for sixth place in the league’s scoring race.

Jonathan Huberdeau (Florida) – W - $8,300 FanDuel, $6,200 DraftKings, $30 Yahoo

Huberdeau is going into Friday’s action on a four-game point streak. Through seven contests this season, he’s scored three goals and nine points. He’ll be up against the Detroit Red Wings tonight and he’s traditionally done well against them with eight goals and 29 points in 32 career contests.

Dylan Larkin (Detroit) – C - $6,400 FanDuel, $6,500 DraftKings, $19 Yahoo

For a mid-priced center, Larkin is off to a fantastic start. He’s up to three goals and eight points in six contests this season. He is on a three-game point streak and has only been held off the scoresheet once in 2021-22.

Defensemen:

Heiskanen is off to a strong start with two goals and seven points in seven contests. He’s in a five-way tie for fourth place in the defensemen scoring race. He’s also recorded at least one point in three of his last four games.

Seth Jones (Chicago) - $6,400 FanDuel, $6,600 DraftKings, $19 Yahoo

Chicago hasn’t won a game yet this season, but Jones has at least worked out for them so far. He has six assists in seven games this season. He’s going into tonight’s contest on a three-game point streak.

Bargain Bin: Zach Werenski (CLM) - $5,100 FanDuel/$6,300 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo, Tony DeAngelo (CAR) - $4,900 FanDuel/$5,200 DraftKings/$17 Yahoo

Goaltenders:

Sergei Bobrovsky (Florida) - $8,600 FanDuel, $8,100 DraftKings, $34 Yahoo

After two rough seasons with the Panthers, Bobrovsky has gotten off to a great start in 2021-22. He has a 5-0-0 record, 1.79 GAA, and .946 save percentage in five starts. He’s had an up-and-down career and so far this is looking like an up year.
