Friday night has eight games scheduled.
Brock Boeser (VAN) – W - $7,300 FanDuel, $7,500 DraftKings, $22 Yahoo
Boeser has been red hot lately. He had a hat trick and an assist on Wednesday, which extended his goal scoring streak to three straight games. He’s up to seven goals and 14 points in 12 contests this season.
J.T. Miller (VAN) – W - $6,200 FanDuel, $7,100 DraftKings, $19 Yahoo
If you do take Boeser, you can entertain doubling down on Vancouver by grabbing Miller too. Like Boeser, Miller has been on fire lately. He’s on a four-game point streak with two goals and six points over that span. That gives him six goals and 14 points in 12 contests this season.
Brock Nelson (NYI) – C - $5,600 FanDuel, $5,700 DraftKings, $18 Yahoo
Nelson has recorded at least a point in three of his last four games. He’s scored four goals and 10 points in 11 contests in 2019-20. It’s worth noting that the Islanders will be up against Tampa Bay tonight. Ordinarily, the Lightning are far from an ideal opponent, but this might be a good time to face them given that this is Tampa Bay’s third road game in the span of four days.
Bargain Bin: Alex Ovechkin (WAS) - $8,700 FanDuel/$8,100 DraftKings/$35 Yahoo, Jack Eichel (BUF) - $8,500 FanDuel/$7,500 DraftKings/$33 Yahoo, Mathew Barzal (NYI) - $6,600 FanDuel/$5,900 DraftKings/$22 Yahoo, Ryan O'Reilly (STL) - $6,400 FanDuel/$5,100 DraftKings/$23 Yahoo, Ryan Getzlaf (ANA) - $6,200 FanDuel/$6,000 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, David Perron (STL) - $5,800 FanDuel/$5,900 DraftKings/$19 Yahoo, Tyler Bertuzzi (DET) - $5,400 FanDuel/$5,100 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Kevin Labanc (SJS) - $4,800 FanDuel/$4,800 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo
John Carlson (WAS) – D - $7,300 FanDuel, $7,300 DraftKings, $29 Yahoo
There’s no question that Carlson is pricy, but you still can’t do better than him. He has seven goals and 23 points in 14 games this season. He hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down either after scoring two goals in his most recent contest.
Dougie Hamilton (CAR) – D - $6,500 FanDuel, $6,200 DraftKings, $23 Yahoo
Hamilton is on a five-game point streak and he’s only been held off the scoresheet once in his last 11 contests. He has six goals and 13 points in 12 games in 2019-20.
Shayne Gostisbehere (PHI) – D - $4,900 FanDuel, $3,900 DraftKings, $16 Yahoo
Gostisbehere seemed to be establishing himself as one of the league’s top offensive defensemen when he recorded 65 points in 2017-18, but he dipped to 37 points last season and he got off to a slow start in 2019-20. He’s started to turn things around lately though with a goal and four points in his last five contests. Given his discount price, he’s worth taking a chance on at this time.
Bargain Bin: Brent Burns (SJS) - $7,100 FanDuel/$6,600 DraftKings/$26 Yahoo, Alex Pietrangelo (STL) - $6,000 FanDuel/$6,400 DraftKings/$20 Yahoo, Zach Werenski (CLM) - $5,300 FanDuel/$4,700 DraftKings/$18 Yahoo, Devon Toews (NYI) - $4,600 FanDuel/$4,300 DraftKings/$16 Yahoo
Jordan Binnington (STL) – G - $8,100 FanDuel, $8,400 DraftKings, $32 Yahoo
Binnington had a somewhat shaky start to the season, but he’s bounced back since. He’s allowed just two goals in four of his last five starts, including Wednesday’s contest where he stopped 35 of 36 shots against Minnesota. Tonight the Blues will be facing the struggling Columbus Blue Jackets, so this could be a good one for Binnington.
Petr Mrazek (CAR) – G - $7,500 FanDuel, $8,000 DraftKings, $36 Yahoo
Mrazek had a terrific October with a 6-1-1 record, 2.24 GAA, and .917 save percentage in eight games. He’s opening November against his former team, the Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings aren’t a great team this season and I’m looking for Mrazek to have a strong showing against them.
