NHL announces three rescheduled Islanders games, postpones one more

Like most teams trying to navigate the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the Islanders have had their scheduled interrupted with postponements.

But on Tuesday night, the NHL announced that three Islanders games have been rescheduled and one more has been postponed.

Here's a look at the updated schedule:

- Islanders at Flyers previously scheduled for Nov. 30 will now be rescheduled for Jan. 18 at 7:00 p.m.

- Blue Jackets at Islanders on Jan. 18 will be postponed with a rescheduled date announced at a later time.

- Islanders at Maple Leafs currently scheduled for Jan. 22 will be rescheduled for April 17 at 7:00 p.m.

- Maple Leafs at Islanders currently scheduled for April 17 will be rescheduled for Jan. 22 at 7:00 p.m.

The league also noted that the Isles' games originally scheduled against the Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals, Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings in December, as well as upcoming games against the Seattle Kraken, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames in January, have yet to be rescheduled.
