With the 2021 campaign officially over, players from the 2021 roster are making their intentions known. At this point in the process, a total of 10 LSU Tigers have opted for the 2022 NFL draft.

It began with Damone Clark, who was the first to decide to skip the bowl game in preparation for the draft. He is set to participate in Reese’s Senior Bowl to help his draft stock. Clark was ranked as one of the top players to watch in the week-long event. Shortly thereafter, it was Neil Farrell Jr that followed suit and decided to skip the bowl game.

The least shocking declaration for the NFL draft was cornerback Derek Stingley Jr, who hadn’t played since week three against Central Michigan. Viewed as the top prospect for LSU and at his position. It feels as though Stingley is a lock among the top five. Any number of teams could use a cornerback with his skills.

Tyrion Davis-Price might have been the biggest one for me personally. It felt like he could use another year considering 2021 was his first year of real production in three seasons. He could be a good reserve back for a list of teams that need young talent at the position.

We will update this tracker if more players declare. Among the ten names were punter Avery Atkins and placekicker Cade York.

Damone Clark, Linebacker

Neil Farrell Jr, DT

Derek Stingley Jr, Cornerback

Cordale Flott, Cornerback

Cade York, Kicker

Ed Ingram, Offensive Guard | Cam Lewis, Defensive Back | Avery Atkins, Punter

Micah Baskerville, Linebacker

Tyrion Davis-Price, Running Back
