It appears some help could be on the way for the Vikings up front. While the offensive line has struggled immensely through the first six games of the season, the Vikings (1-5) got a boost Monday when they designated guard Pat Elflein for return from injured reserve. They also designated linebacker Troy Dye for return from injured reserve.
Just] trying to look for ways we can continue to get better and ways to help the players scheme-wise," Zimmer said. "All the areas that we're good at and all the areas that we need to correct. We are going to continue to work on those and excited to get ready to go play Green Bay."
Vikings general manager Rick Spielman made himself clear last week after he traded talented defensive end Yannick Ngakoue for draft picks. Though it sure looked like a preview of more trades to come, Spielman insisted he had no intentions of blowing up the roster in an effort to rebuild from the ground up. Our goal every week is to go out there and win football games,” Spielman said.
