Steelers wire poll: How many AFC north teams make the playoffs in 2017?

The AFC North has only existed since 2002, but during that time, the Pittsburgh Steelers made the playoffs 10 times including seven division championships. 2017 looks like a strong year for the division with the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals improved. Even the Cleveland Browns seem to be rebuilding but probably aren’t quite playoff ready just yet. But how many teams will make the playoffs from the AFC North this season? Pittsburgh looks to be the favorite to win the division, but that’s not to say there can’t be multiple teams make the playoffs. Bill Belichick was ‘sniffing around’ for info on Burkhead before breakout performance

Losing Rex Burkhead was one of the most disappointing parts of the Cincinnati Bengals’ 2017 offseason. Needless to say, Burkhead’s performance in the final game of his rookie contract drastically increased his value heading into free agency. There was talk about the Bengals trying to retain him, but ultimately he chose

KeiVarae Russell eying roster spot in crowded cornerback group

The football journey of KeiVarae Russell may be just getting started in the NFL, but it’s been a strange one to say the least. The former Notre Dame star was one of the better cornerbacks in college football while enjoying a standout career with Notre Dame. But an academic scandal in August of 2014 led to him being suspended for the entire season. He returned in 2015 and went on to record 60 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and four pass deflections in 11 games. Going into the 2016 NFL Draft, Russell was projected to be selected somewhere in the Round 2-4 range and was viewed as a nice developmental corner. The Kansas City Chiefs wound up spending
