    Smiles, daps, and hugs from roughly 50 football players is what filled the Cass Technical High School football field on Saturday afternoon. Similar to a family reunion, Cass Tech football players geared up to showcase their athleticism and bond with former teammates and alums.   Each year, the Cass Tech football program hosts a ‘7 vs. 7 Alumni Game.' The event pits alums of the football program against current Cass Tech players.     Arizona Cardinals sign LB Tevin Floyd, cut C Lucas Crowley

    July 22 (UPI) -- Linebacker Tevin Floyd is officially became a member of the Arizona Cardinals. The franchise announced that it signed The Citadel product on Saturday. The Cardinals also released center Lucas Crowley in a corresponding move. Floyd had 86 tackles and two sacks last season for The Citadel. He also had 8.5 takedowns for a loss. Floyd totaled 295 tackles in 49 career games for the Bulldogs. The 6-foot-1, 238 pound rookie free agent was first-team All-Southern Conference in 2016. He participated in Cardinals rookie minicamp in May. Crowley was an undrafted free agent and signed with the Cardinals after the draft.
