Norv Turner Has Very Hot Take In Tom Brady Vs. Peyton Manning Debate

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning provided arguably the greatest quarterback rivalry in NFL history, and as a result, their greatness probably will be compared and debated until the end of time. While Brady’s fifth Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LI led many to view the New England Patriots QB as the greatest to ever play the position, it’s certainly not a unanimously agreed upon notion. And former NFL coach Norv Turner made that abundantly clear in a recent ESPN story that has the football world abuzz. Turner was one of 10 current and former coaches surveyed by ESPN’s Mike Sando, who tasked each of them with ranking the 10 best NFL quarterbacks since 1978. Brady was the cumulative winner of the experiment,

    The making of Chris Ballard

On a midsummer afternoon the new boss strides coolly through the hallways of his new domain, confident, casual – he’s wearing flip-flops, for goodness sakes – ambling with the ease of a man who knew all along he’d end up exactly where he is. John Elway No. 1 on Tony Dungy’s list of QBs since 1978

Good morning, Broncos Country! Tony Dungy may have just become the most popular man in this fan base. The former Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach was part of a panel that ranked the top 10 quarterbacks since 1978 (more on the group who selected the countdown and approach below). Atop Dungy’s list is John Elway. When people put these together, the former Denver Broncos legend doesn’t usually hit No. 1. It’s nice to see someone give that respect to The Duke. Elway is followed by Aaron Rodgers, Steve Young, Dan Marino and Peyton Manning. So Dungy not only has Elway at No. 1, he has his former quarterback in Indy at No. 5. Again, Broncos Country is loving this list so far. But
