The Jaguars' Jalen Ramsey liked an Instagram post suggesting the team replace Blake Bortles
Blake Bortles has been one of the more highly scrutinized quarterbacks this NFL offseason. But, for the most part, that criticism has come from outside the Jaguars organization. That is starting to change. A day after WR Allen Robinson voiced his frustration with Bortles during practice, the team’s best player, CB Jalen Ramsey, liked an Instagram post featuring a screenshot of an article suggesting replacements for Bortles. The Jaguars are a talented team capable of making the playoffs with competent quarterback play. Everything we’ve seen from Bortles suggests he is unable to provide that, which will undoubtedly frustrate other players on the team. It appears that frustration is already setting

Patriots Rookie Derek Rivers Injured In Joint Practice With Texans
The New England Patriots, who already were thin at defensive end entering Wednesday, lost another during their second joint practice with the Houston Texans. Rookie Derek Rivers left practice with what appeared to be a left knee/leg injury after going down on a kickoff, according to reporters on the scene at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia. Rivers reportedly walked off the field under his own power after being examined by team trainers. Rivers was the Patriots’ top pick in the 2017 NFL Draft (83rd overall), and his injury came less than a week after fellow rookie defensive end Deatrich Wise (131st overall) suffered a head injury in New England’s preseason opener against the Jacksonville

Fantasy Football Preseason Week 1 Review: Rookie running backs
Week 1 of the preseason usually is slow going. However, it is also the rookie showcase as many new talents make their career debut. Of course, we cannot jump to too many conclusions from a few quarters of play in what is essentially a scrimmage game, but some rookies caught our attention. So to that end, here are some notable rook running backs that impressed in preseason Week 1. Fantasy owners take note. Fournette came out strong in his NFL debut. The fourth overall pick rushed for 31 yards on nine carries and a touchdown. Though he did not get the start, Fournette was in charge of the back field against the Patriots. Despite suffering a minor foot injury, Fournette looks like he is set to carry
