6 players to target off fantasy football waiver wire for Week 3
The NFL’s regular season is entering Week 3, which means fantasy football season is starting to heat up. Here are six players you should consider off the fantasy football waiver wire this week: The Seahawks finally have a lead running back and it’s Carson, a rookie from Oklahoma State. Carson had 20 carries for 93 yards on Sunday, dominating Seattle’s backfield workload. Carson was on the field for 51 of the Seahawks’ offensive snaps, more than Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise, who each had 16 snaps. Eddie Lacy, by the way, was a healthy scratch. The Ravens may have also found a lead running back on Sunday. Seahawks insist Eddie Lacy still has role after being healthy scratch
It was a bit surprising to see Eddie Lacy among Seattle’s seven inactives for Sunday’s 12-9 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Lacy was a healthy scratch for Seattle as the Seahawks had just one player inactive for injury reasons. The Seahawks kept Thomas Rawls, Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise as their three active running backs with fullback Tre Madden also active for the game.
