    Last year, the Cleveland Browns’ top two quarterbacks were Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown.     Derek Carr is worth every penny for the Oakland Raiders

    Early Thursday morning, in a move that had been anticipated for days, the Oakland Raiders made Derek Carr not just the highest paid quarterback, but the highest paid player in the NFL in terms of average yearly salary.  Entering just his fourth season in the league, there is no doubt that Carr is one of the NFL’s brightest young players, however, is he truly worth the 5-year, $125 million deal the Raiders awarded him?  The answer is a very simple, and emphatic, yes. Carr may not yet be better than the top-tier quarterbacks whom he will be earning more than, such as Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Drew Brees, but he didn’t get paid because he is the best quarterback in the league.

    Annual Cleveland Browns Blood Drive on July 29th

    When the Cleveland Browns announced their training camp schedule last week, they also announced the team’s annual blood drive on Saturday, July 29th. There will be 12 site locations in Northeast Ohio to support the American Red Cross on that day. If you are going to Berea for training camp that day, one of the donation centers will be there.
