Taco Charlton gets deal with Mexican restaurant chain

When Taco Charlton got drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed likely that a Mexican restaurant was going to make a deal with the former University of Michigan defensive end. "We had meetings with a bunch of restaurants that sell tacos and we were looking for a long-term relationship," Charlton's agent, Joel Segal, said. Eagles have the shortest travel schedule of any NFC East team in 2017

I have some bad news and good news. The bad news is the 2017 Eagles travel schedule won’t be as short as it’s been in recent years. The good news is the 2017 Eagles travel schedule will be shorter than originally expected. According to Delta Air Lines, the Eagles are scheduled to travel 20,286 total miles this season. That figure ranks as the 12th longest combined trip. But that figure isn’t entirely accurate. The Eagles won’t be traveling back to Philadelphia after their Week 13 game against the Seahawks in Seattle. Instead, they’ll be staying out west before they play the Rams in Los Angeles in Week 14. The distance saved by not going back to Philly (and going straight from Seattle to LA instead)

Florida might have solved its long-running quarterback problem with the addition of Notre Dame transfer Malik Zaire. That move became official last week, and as a graduate transfer, Zaire will be immediately eligible. Zaire is no lock to be the Gators starter when they open against Michigan in Arlington, Texas, at the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Of course, if coach Jim McElwain and the Gators really felt good about redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks, then Zaire probably would not be going to school in Gainesville. Florida is one of several schools likely turning to a transfer quarterback this season to lead their teams. Six that will be drawing lots of attention in 2017. Kyle Allen, Houston Allen
