Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and coach Pete Carroll highly praised the 49ers' defensive leader, Fred Warner, ahead of the Week-8 contest.
The Seattle Seahawks' will enter Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers with three of their four running backs injured and game day decisions. Starter Chris Carson, backups Carlos Hyde and Travis Homer sustained injuries during the loss at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. Carson and Homer are listed as questionable against the 49ers, while Hyde is listed as doubtful.
Whenever you do have an offense playing like that, usually the opposing offense is trying to play a lot of catch-up and stuff, and they’re doing a lot of aggressive things. And they’ve given up some explosives, which gets the yards going, but they’re still third in the league in turnovers, which means they cause a lot of problems. Unfortunately, both the 49ers (4-3) and Seahawks (5-1) have injury problems that could diminish the quality of Sunday’s game.
