Penny Hart, Receiver : 5-foot-8, 181 pounds : One reception for three yards, one rush for 9 yards in 13 games After being released by Indianapolis and spending most of his 2019 season on Seattle's practice squad, Hart emerged as one of the biggest surprises to make the Seahawks final roster out of camp last September. Despite his smaller stature, the former Georgia State star's contributions on special teams helped him beat out John Ursua for the last spot on the depth chart at receiver.
Keeping safety in mind, the league will be instituting protocols to make sure all helmets are properly broken in and tested before being used in games. Teams will be required to purchase a second set of helmets for the entire roster that meet the same exact specifications as their primary helmet. Players will also have to wear the helmet during the week of practice leading up to the game they will be worn in to ensure proper fit.
Already this offseason, the Seahawks have been linked to former Falcons receiver Julio Jones, who ultimately was traded to the Titans, as well as Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who wants a new contract and didn't report for mandatory minicamp. With the start of training camp less than six weeks away, another All-Pro talent in Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard looks to be pulling some strings behind the scenes attempting to facilitate a trade.
