Calvin Ridley caught 4-of-5 targets for 64 yards and one touchdown in the Falcons' Week 2 win over the Panthers.
Advice: His 64 yards tied Julio Jones for the team lead, while Ridley scored the Falcons' first touchdown through the air from 11 yards out, beating fellow rookie CB Donte Jackson. Ridley put up a goose egg on two targets in the opener, but coach Dan Quinn said he wanted Ridley more involved, and OC Steve Sarkisian made it happen. His five targets were three more than Mohamed Sanu for second on the team behind Jones (nine). Ridley is worth watching on the waiver and perhaps nabbing in 12- and 14-team leagues as a WR4/5 ahead of Week 3 against New Orleans.
Calvin Ridley had four receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown Sunday in the Atlanta Falcons' 31-24 win over the Carolina Panthers. He added one rush for three yards.
Falcons coach Dan Quinn said he expects rookie WR Calvin Ridley to be more involved on offense moving forward.
Advice: Ridley played 45 snaps Thursday, so it's hard to imagine him being any more involved. The Falcons have a top-heavy target tree but it's possible they begin forcing the issue with their first-round wideout as early as Week 2. Ridley's involvement should be monitored closely, but he isn't an option for fantasy lineups just yet.
