The Vikings have claimed safety Steven Parker off of waivers from the Miami Dolphins, according to numerous sources. Parker went undrafted out of Oklahoma in 2018 and was signed by the Los Angeles Rams, spending the season on their practice squad. He went through camp with the Rams in 2019 as well, but was part of their final cuts and wound up signing with the Dolphins, appearing in 14 games for Miami last season.
The Dolphins quarterbacks aren’t going to let the Miami heat get to them. Newcomer Tua Tagovailoa, the No. overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has his work cut out for him, trying to work his way into playing time behind veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick and former top-10 pick Josh Rosen.
