Patrick Mahomes completed 24-of-34 passes for 243 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in the Chiefs' 29-28, Week 15 loss to the Chargers.
Advice: The Chiefs went up 28-14 with 8:15 remaining but could only watch as Philip Rivers rallied the Bolts to a stunning road victory. (The refs, who were omnipresent all night, helped out.) With the Chargers dominating time of possession, the Chiefs could never quite seem to get in rhythm even though Mahomes engineered four separate touchdown drives. Mahomes missed a few more throws than usual, but he also supplied his usual highlight reel passes, including an 11-yard first quarter touchdown to Demarcus Robinson where he initially appeared to be throwing the ball away. Mahomes also attempted a(nother) left-handed pass but could not get the conversion. Looking like a man who is missing Sammy Watkins and Kareem Hunt, Mahomes has 10 days to get ready for the Chiefs' now critical Week 16 road trip to Seattle.
Patrick Mahomes was 24 of 34 for 243 yards and threw two touchdown passes Thursday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 29-28 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked two times. Mahomes added three rushing yards on two carries.
Patrick Mahomes completed 35-of-53 passes for 377 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Chiefs' 27-24, Week 14 win over the Ravens.
Advice: Mahomes faced as much pressure in this one as any other game this season and delivered with some stunning plays, one no bigger than a 4th-and-9 long hookup to Tyreek Hill to set up the eventual game-tying touchdown pass to Damien Williams from five yards away with 53 seconds left. Mahomes' other score was a 15-yard dime to Travis Kelce in the first half. The Chiefs struggled to move the ball most of the second half but were able to escape with the win in part to some shoddy play from Lamar Jackson. The Chiefs have a quick turnaround and host the Chargers on Thursday night in Week 15.
Patrick Mahomes was 35 of 53 for 377 yards and threw two touchdown passes Sunday in the Kansas City Chiefs' 27-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times.
