The Denver Broncos may have tampered with its future quarterback. Longtime Broncos insider Woody Paige recently reported that Denver has "spoken to" impending free-agent graybeard Ryan Fitzpatrick as the team seeks a veteran signal-caller to pair with incumbent third-year starter Drew Lock. "I recently tweeted that I believe Lock would be back with a veteran free agent signed.
According to reports, the Denver Broncos are among the teams that have met virtually with Northwestern cornerback Greg Newsome II recently. He’s considered a potential first-round player by some and we know the Broncos will likely be in the market for a cornerback, even if they sign one in free agency. Newsome at 9 would be a bit early, but if they decided to trade back or if he’s there with their second-round selection, they could consider him.
I had high hopes for Montee Ball.
