The Las Vegas Raiders have put in a request to interview Indianapolis Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds for their general manager position, according to Ian Rapoport. Rapoport also reports that the Raiders plan on moving on from current general manager Mike Mayock — which would make sense given the request put in for Dodds. Dodds has been with the Colts since 2017 and was hired as the team’s Vice President of Player Personnel before being promoted to assistant GM in 2018.
The Chicago Bears have reached out to at least 13 general manager and 10 coaching candidates for interviews. As they go through the process, we’re looking at each of the prospects. Matt Eberflus will interview for the head coaching position Monday, according to NFL Network.
However, Over The Cap projects that the Colts may receive a couple of compensatory picks to recoup their losses from last year's free agency period. That would give the Colts eight picks in the upcoming draft.
