STUD: Alvin Kamara I feel like I should just write in Kamara’s name here each week before the game even starts. Kamara scored twice again and caught a whopping 13 balls for 139 yards, taking one 56 yards for a ridiculous TD. He looks great, and is entering the conversation for offensive player of the year and fantasy MVP with yet another 30+ point performance.
Three games, three wins, 122 points. Despite warts on defense and an offense that somehow — inexplicably — can still leave points on the field, that’s the story of the 2020 Packers so far. They’re winning, and they’re doing it with a well-executed offense leading the way in record-setting fashion.
Rodgers and company continued their roll, scoring a not-so-easy win in the Big Easy on Sunday night and coming out on top of a 37-30 shootout with Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The Packers are now one of three teams left in the NFC without a loss (along with the Seahawks and Bears, the latter of which got to play the perpetually choking Atlanta Falcons and now have a quarterback controversy) and hold a tiebreaker over a team expected to challenge for a playoff spot down the line.
