Friday marked the beginning of Pro Day season and, this year, the NFL Combine. Because of the pandemic, the weeklong event in Indianapolis was tabled for the first time in 34 years. Boston College tight end Hunter Long and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie are part of that group.
Joseph Ossai could be great for the Atlanta Falcons if they can draft him at the start of the second round. Ossai’s fit in the Falcons’ defense would be as a pass-rushing edge and outside linebacker. He has the kind of pass-rushing ability and leadership traits in the locker room to be an asset for Atlanta.
One of the biggest adjustments new Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith will have to make when coming over from the Tennessee Titans is not having superstar running back Derrick Henry anymore. Henry makes the life of an offensive coordinator much easier. Not only is he a big-play threat whenever he gets the ball, but that same threat forces opposing defense to bring help, opening things up in the passing game.
