    Juantarius Bryant has managed to turn what was an “embarrassing” story into possibly realizing his dream of playing in the NFL. The undrafted defensive back will try out for NFL teams on Sunday, roughly a week after he claimed to be a victim of a NFL tryout hoax. Bryant, who played at Austin Peay University, claimed he had been invited a tryout with the Atlanta Falcons.

    Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan said Tuesday wide receiver Julio Jones, who's been the focus of trade rumors leading up to the 2021 NFL season, has "impacted my career more than any other player." Ryan also called Jones "one of the best to ever do it at his position:" Peter King of NBC Sports reported last week there's a 60 percent chance Jones is traded by Labor Day, which is Sept. six days before the Falcons open the regular season against the Philadelphia Eagles.

    The Kyle Pitts hype machine has been roaring at a deafening volume for a few months now, but I don’t know that we’ve seen its peak just yet. That may come in the summer months, when Pitts is hopefully doing absurd things at camp, or if we’re very lucky, it’ll come during the season when he’s doing absurd things to NFL defenders. If he’s that good, he’ll be one of the darlings of NFL media in the same way he was in the final weeks before the draft.
