The New York Giants wide receiver caught a 10-yard pass early in the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles, dragging both feet in the end zone, and in his celebration, he appeared to walk like a dog and simulated a dog urinating on the field. "I'm a dog, so I acted like a dog. I don't know if the rulebook said you can't hike your leg. He said I peed on somebody, so I was trying to find the imaginary ghost that I peed on. But I didn't see him," Beckham told reporters following the Giants' 27-24 loss. "Either way it goes, you play football. I wear red and white.
After President Trump called on NFL owners to fire players who kneel during the national anthem, the owners of the New York Giants said they will certainly not do that. Giants co-owners John Mara and Steve Tisch jointly released a statement saying they take issue with Trump’s statement. “Comments like we heard last night from the president are inappropriate, offensive and divisive. We are proud of our players, the vast majority of whom use their NFL platform to make a positive difference in our society,” Mara and Tisch said. Those words are surprisingly stark criticism of the president, which is unusual for NFL owners. But Trump’s statement was itself unusual, and many in the NFL are now speaking

Thurmond will make an appearance Friday for the National Pro Wrestling League, for its show in Petaluma, Calif., when he will accompany wrestler Cory Machado to the ring.
