Their top pass rusher suffered a torn ACL in Week 2, their All-Pro defensive back has been sidelined for more than a month with a leg injury and myriad injuries to running backs mean they might have to lean on a rookie with little game experience. We’re not just talking about the banged-up 49ers. This also describes the 49ers’ opponent on Sunday: The banged-up Seahawks.
The San Francisco 49ers have activated running back Tevin Coleman and cornerback K’Waun Williams from the injured reserve list. The Niners also placed running back Jeff Wilson Jr. on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain and activated receiver River Cracraft and safety Johnathan Cyprien from the practice squad on Saturday. Coleman has been out since injuring his knee in Week 2 and Williams hurt his knee in Week 4.
The 49ers won't have Richie James Jr. or Jaquiski Tartt vs. the Seahawks, and they may be without Kentavius Street.
