Rob Gronkowski will not attend the start of New England's offseason program Monday.
Advice: Tom Brady won't be present at the start of New England's program either as he's on a business trip in Qatar. Schefter continues that Gronkowski is still considering whether to play this upcoming season, and has had "good communication" with the Patriots. Gronk reportedly told friends at one point during the 2017 season he was "likely to retire" but ESPN's Jeff Darlington has since noted the 28-year-old is "pretty certain" he'll return. Sources also told Darlington that any "friction" between Gronkowski and head coach Bill Belichick should ease once the tight end fully commits to football again.
