Matthew Stafford(notes) threw four interceptions in the Lions' loss to the Bears, including two pick-6's on successive drives to start the third quarter. The frustration got to Stafford after he threw a fourth-quarter interception to Tim Jennings(notes). As Jennings ran back the ball, Stafford took down D.J. Moore(notes), starting off a fracas that lasted longer than Saturday night's UFC heavyweight title bout.
Moore was ejected, but he did not regret defending himself in a physical game.
"You can't just go to my head and try to end my career like that," Moore told CSN Chicago after the game.
The Bears went on to win 37-13, pulling them into a tie with the Lions for second place in the NFC North and the wild-card playoff race.
