NFL Week 4 picks against the spread for Patriots-Bills, all other games

Week 4 of the 2019 NFL season begins Thursday night with an excellent NFC matchup.

The Philadelphia Eagles started the season as one of the Super Bowl favorites, but now they find themselves with a 1-2 record going into a hostile road environment against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are one of four 3-0 teams in the NFC, and their improvement on defense has many Green Bay fans envisioning another Super Bowl appearance. It's still very early in the season, but Thursday's game might be a must-win for the Eagles, who cannot afford to fall too far behind the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

Two other unbeaten teams will square off in Buffalo when the Bills host the New England Patriots with first place in the AFC East at stake. The Patriots are 2-1 against the spread after failing to cover a 22.5-point line in Sunday's Week 3 win over the New York Jets. Rookie quarterback Jarrett Stidham's pick-6 cost bettors who wagered on the Patriots.

The Patriots again are an enticing bet. Tom Brady has owned the Bills throughout his career with a 30-3 all-time record against Buffalo. His 15 wins at New Era Field since 2001 are the most of any quarterback over that span, including Buffalo's.

Let's take a look at the latest NFL odds (via the Westgate SuperBook) and make picks against the spread for every Week 4 matchup. Each pick is italicized (Season record: 24-24).
