The third- and fourth-place teams in the AFC East meet in a game that could be Bill Belichick’s last as Patriots coach. Of course, he also coached the Jets, never to coach a game or practice. Predictions: Jets 10, Patriots 10

The Bucs need a victory to win the division. They draw the perfect foe. And that still doesn’t make the game intriguing. Prediction: Bucs 28. Panthers 3

The NFC South is so bad, even with the division up for grabs, that neither game goes into the late window. Prediction: Saints 31, Falcons 13

The Bolts finish out another uninspiring campaign and set their sights on a new coach. The Chiefs would do well to try to build some momentum in a season that has lacked it. Prediction: Chiefs 28, Chargers 10

The Eagles have lost four of five, and the only team they beat in this slump was the Giants. Expect a repeat. Prediction: Eagles 37, Giants 12

9. Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders

The Cowboys find a way to put it together on the road with the NFC East title on the line. It helps that they will be playing a Commanders team that will finish the season with eight straight losses. Prediction: Cowboys 34, Commanders 10

Christian McCaffrey gets the game off so he can take care of his injuries. With him, the game would have been enticing. Without him, it is a rivalry game where both teams are playoff-bound. Predictions: Rams 21, 49ers 20

What team has done more after facing greater hurdles than the Browns in 2023? Joe Flacco may not take them deep into the playoffs, but everything that has happened in Cleveland has put a smile on the faces of the fans. Prediction: Browns 24, Bengals 20

5. Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans

The Jaguars somehow can have a 10-win season after the slow start, red-hot middle of the season, and sluggish finish. They should finish off an ugly campaign for Mike Vrabel, and possibly the coach’s tenure in Tennessee. Prediction: Jaguars 27, Titans 13

4. Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

Justin Fields gets another chance to showcase his wondrous talents before the Bears’ brass has to decide on what to do with the No. 1 overall pick. Jordan Love hopes to get Green Bay into the postseason. Prediction: Packers 28, Bears 24

Mike Tomlin vs. John Harbaugh is enough reason for a high ranking and an enjoyable watch on Saturday. Prediction: Steelers 20, Ravens 17

2. Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts

This one on Saturday sets up the Jaguars-Titans on Sunday. One team will leave with a sweet 10-win season barring a tie.  The first-year coaches of each squad have done fantastic work. Prediction: Texans 30, Colts 28
