NFL Week 18 power rankings and the NFC West

The NFC West went 3-1 in Week 17 with the Seattle Seahawks being the only team to lose a game. The San Francisco 49ers are in the driver’s seat for the NFC No. 1 seed. The Los Angeles Rams clinched a playoff spot. The Arizona Cardinals upset the Philadelphia Eagles 35-31.

San Francisco 49ers (No. 2 overall)

The 49ers beat the Washington Commanders 27-10 behind two touchdown passes from Brock Purdy and 184 rushing yards as a team. They were No. 2 last week and remain there.

Los Angeles Rams (No. 9 overall)

The Rams survived a scare from the New York Giants and beat them 26-25 and clinched a wild card berth into the postseason. They moved up one spot from 10th to ninth in this week’s power rankings

Seattle Seahawks (No. 17 overall)

The Seahawks allowed more than 200 rushing yards to the Pittsburgh Steelers and lost at home 30-23.

They fell from No. 14 to No. 17 this week.

Arizona Cardinals (No. 24 overall)

The Cardinals dominated the line of scrimmage offensively and beat the Philadelphia Eagles 35-31 behind 128 rushing yards by James Conner and three touchdown passes by Kyler Murray.

They moved up from No. 28 to No. 24.
