NFL Twitter blasts 49ers, Jimmy G for poor half vs. Dolphins originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
To say the 49ers are off to a rough start against the 1-3 Miami Dolphins would be an understatement.
San Francisco, who has Super Bowl aspirations after being 10 minutes away from hoisting the Lombardi Trophy last season, is trailing the rebuilding Dolphins 30-7 at halftime Sunday at Levi's Stadium.
From having practice-squad cornerback Brian Allen being burned by the Dolphins wideouts to Jimmy Garoppolo looking shaky with two brutal interceptions, 49ers fans everywhere and NFL Twitter couldn't help but roast Kyle Shanahan's squad.

Even former 49ers tackle Joe Staley chimed in and was aghast by what he saw.

It could be a long season at Levi's Stadium if this type of play continues for Jimmy G and the 49ers.
