The New England Patriots have lost to the Tennessee Titans both on and off the field in 2020.
A few months after the Titans' ended the Patriots' season with a AFC Wild Card playoff win at Gillette Stadium, Tennessee is set to hire a valuable member of New England's front office.
Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported Monday evening that Patriots director of college scouting Monti Ossenfort is taking his talents to the AFC South franchise.

Ossenfort was the Patriots' director of college scouting for the last six years and spent a total of 15 seasons with the team. Ossenfort could become a general manager at some point, given his impressive performance in New England. He even interviewed for the Cleveland Browns general manager job earlier this year before Andrew Berry was hired.
Trey Flowers, Shaq Mason, Joe Thuney drafted in that time. UDFAs David Andrews, Jonathan Jones, Adam Butler and JC Jackson have also carved out key roles since then. In Tennessee, Ossenfort will reunite with the executive he succeeded in New England: Titans GM Jon Robinson. https://t.co/L1iTwQ1PrL

Ossenfort will join a few other ex-Patriots in Tennessee. Former Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel has spent the last two seasons as the Titans' head coach. Titans general manager Jon Robinson, who's done a nice job building a contender in Tennessee, spent more than 10 years with the Patriots in various roles, including director of college scouting. Veteran cornerback Malcolm Butler, the Patriots' Super Bowl XLIX hero, still plays for the Titans.
The Patriots have lost several coaches/coordinators and front office personnel over the last couple years, but fans can take comfort in the fact that the two most important team builders in the organization -- head coach Bill Belichick and director of player personnel Nick Caserio -- remain in Foxboro.
